Affordability

We recognise putting inclusivity at the heart of things doesn’t mean a lot if you can’t afford treatment.

We will never ask for proof of income, and your request is private. Any reduced rates given to improve accessibility are applicable for all your future sessions, unless you indicate otherwise.

Adaptations

We celebrate the fact everyone has different needs and abilities.

By default, we do not use any room fragrances in our practice, and there will be no music during your appointment unless otherwise agreed with you.

If there is anything we can do to make our appointments more accessible for you, please let us know and we will try our very best to meet your needs. Before your first appointment, you will be asked to complete a short intake form, which has a section dedicated to letting us know about your needs. You can also let us know during your appointment, or by sending an email to hello@qirising.studio.

A few examples:

  • Extra heating/cooling in the room

  • Wearing of mouth coverings/face masks for the duration of appointments. Of course, we always wear a face mask when carrying out any treatments.

  • Having someone else present for support/assistance during your appointment

  • Access to printed versions of our online forms

Appointment Cancellations

There is a minimum notice period of 24 hours for cancelling appointments. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full rate for the missed appointment.

E.g. If you have an appointment at 1pm on Tuesday, you’ll need to cancel before 1pm on Monday to receive a refund.

If you’re unable to attend a session, whether in-person or remotely, you will not pay the last-minute cancellation fee in cases of disability - whether due to mental health, physical disability, neurodivergence, or something else.

You don’t need to share details, just let us know you can’t attend due to reasons outside your control, and the fee will be waived.

We’ll find an alternative date/time to accommodate you.
