Below, you’ll find some information about what Qi Rising® Studio is and what we can offer your patient.

About Qi Rising® Studio

We are a Rotterdam-based integrative TCM practice and the pioneers of the Qi Rising® Method.

We provide a holistic and nurturing approach, using Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to help address chronic health issues. Our practice is built on a foundation of understanding and empathy, recognising that each person is unique. We focus on personal care, dedicating ample time to build rapport and uncover the layers of their health concerns. This in-depth process is paramount in tailoring our treatments to meet their specific needs.

We offer a comprehensive range of services, including acupuncture, moxibustion, and tui na massage among others. Each modality is carefully chosen to promote balance and harmony within the body. Our intake consultations are designed to be thorough, lasting 90 minutes which ensures we gather an extensive medical history and understand the client's lifestyle, as well as any emotional and physical concerns. Follow-up appointments are 60 minutes, allowing for ongoing treatment and in-depth review to facilitate adjustments to their treatment plan as necessary.

In our tranquil environment, we cultivate a safe space where clients feel comfortable sharing their health journeys. We aim to dissolve mental, emotional, and physical blockages that may be hindering their path to wellness. By developing personalised treatment strategies, we empower clients to achieve their health goals. Referring your patients to Qi Rising® Studio means providing them with compassionate care that prioritises their well-being and fosters long-term health.

Specialised in Chronic Conditions

At Qi Rising® Studio, we have a specific interest in supporting those with chronic conditions such as ME/CFS and Long-Covid. While research hasn't confirmed curative treatments, we can help clients navigate their recovery journeys. We believe in a compassionate approach that recognises the complexities of these conditions, fostering a safe space for clients to explore their unique experiences.

Our tailored support empowers individuals to understand their changed abilities, promoting strategies to enhance their body's natural healing and facilitate a sustainable recovery.

Nikolaas (the founder of Qi Rising® Studio) has personal experience of ME/CFS from Long-Covid, and established Qi Rising® Studio to provide support for those living with chronic conditions.

We are currently accepting participants for a practice-based prospective observational study. The study will assess the effectiveness of a combination treatment of acupuncture and ketogenic nutrition coaching
